Red Poll Cattle

Although we are a primarily sheep and goat farm, we do breed and sell red poll cattle. Red poll is a dual purpose breed, used for beef and milk production. It is a naturally polled (hornless) breed. This breed is favored for its docile nature and are easily controlled. They gain weight quickly without increasing their size and produce tender meat with exceptional flavor and texture. Red Poll cattle calf easily and are excellent protective mothers. This breed is hardy and adaptable for most climates and relatively low maintenance compared to similar breeds.
